THIS PHOTOGRAPH SHOWS THE JOYOUS CARNAGE of a spice tasting which I put on for Evening Standard journalist, Victoria Stewart. As a food writer she has a reputation for spotting up and coming companies, so I couldn’t have been more excited when she showed an interest in Rooted Spices.
Victoria was keen to understand just how different spices can taste, so I created a test – pitching supermarket spices from “countries of multiple origins” in unlabelled jars alongside our “single origin spices”.
